SUMMARY:R for Absolute Beginners
DESCRIPTION:An introduction to R\, a commonly used language for data and
statistical analysis and visualization.\n\nThis introductory workshop aims
to provide a quick “swimming” lesson to students\, scholars\,
practitioners\, and researchers who want to dive into the world of R.\n\nR
is a free and open-source programming language that is widely used for data
and statistical analysis and data visualization. RStudio is a free user
interface that we will use to write and run an R script and interact with
our data.\n\nAfter this workshop\, you will be able to:\n\n\n	Confidently
 navigate the RStudio environment.\n	Create a new R script.\n	Write R code
to perform basic math operations and assign values to variables.\n	Load
in\, look at\, and subset a simple dataframe.\n	Know where and how to get
help.\n\n\nThis workshop is for those who are curious about tools for
analyzing or visualizing data\, or for those who have heard about R and
want to know more. No programming experience necessary – just bring
 yourself and a laptop!
