VIRTUAL--Zotero for the Wary Beginner

Connect via Zoom: a URL to join the Zoom session will be emailed to you several hours before the workshop start time. To ensure access to the workshop from the virtual waiting room, your Zoom name should match the information provided when registering for the workshop. Learn how to manage your research using Zotero, a free bibliographic management system developed by humanities scholars. It allows you to manage references, make notes, and automatically attach PDFs.

Participants will learn:

  • How to automatically and manually add references to a library.

  • Create notes about their references

  • Generate a bibliography in virtually any citation standard.

Participants should use their own laptops or desktops.
