Connect via Zoom: a URL to join the Zoom session will be emailed to you 1 hour before the workshop start time. To ensure access to the workshop from the virtual waiting room, your Zoom name should match the information provided when registering for the workshop. QGIS is an open source and cross-platform GIS software that supports displaying, storing, editing, and analysis of geospatial data. This workshop will provide a quick introduction to the QGIS software interface in the Windows operating system and user will learn basic functionalities like displaying spatial data, create GIS layers from raw data, and perform some basic spatial analysis.
