Introduction to Geographic Information System (GIS)

GIS is a computer-based platform for the storage, visualization, analysis, and interpretation of geographic data to understand spatial relationships, patterns and trends. In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to understand the fundamentals of GIS, including data types, applications, examples of GIS software, and live demos of ArcGIS software.
