QGIS is an open source and cross-platform Geographic Information System (GIS) software that supports displaying, storing, editing, and analysis of geospatial data.

In this workshop, users will get hands-on experience with the qGIS software interface in the Windows operating system, display spatial data, create GIS layers from raw data, and perform some basic spatial analysis. Data required for this workshop will be provided.
