Introduction to Geographic Information System (GIS)

Open to:
-Faculty -Graduate Students -Postdocs -Staff -Undergraduate Students

GIS is a computer-based platform for the storage, visualization, analysis, and interpretation of data to understand spatial relationships, patterns, and trends in geographic data.

In this workshop, participants will have an opportunity to understand fundamental of GIS, including data types, applications, examples of GIS software, and live demos.
