Intro to Jupyter Notebooks

OPEN TO:
-Faculty -Graduate Students -Postdocs -Public, Alumni, & Friends -Staff -Undergraduate Students

This hands on workshop will introduce participants to using a Jupyter Notebook through a hands-on BYONotebook tutorial.  Participants will gain a basic understanding of how to create and run a Jupyter notebook.

This workshop is for faculty, staff or students who are interested in using Jupyter notebooks in their research and who may wish to share them, and to anyone interested in open science or reproducibility.

Materials or downloads needed in advance: BYO laptop. If you would like to borrow a laptop from the CDS, please request one on the registration form. If you want to work with your own Jupyter notebook, make sure it is in running order; example notebooks will be provided to those who do not wish to use their own.
