AI Masterclass: Supercharge Your Research – A Hands-On Guide to AI APIs

This workshop teaches researchers how to leverage AI APIs (like OpenAI, Anthropic) to automate literature reviews, process large datasets, and extract unstructured data programmatically.

Move beyond the chat interface! This workshop teaches researchers how to leverage AI APIs (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) to automate literature reviews, process large datasets, and extract unstructured data programmatically. We will cover how to securely generate and manage API keys using Portkey, write basic scripts to call AI models, and keep university data compliant within secure boundaries.

Basic familiarity with Python or R is recommended but not required.
