Fact Checking AI With Lateral Reading

This hands-on workshop will introduce you to "lateral reading," a powerful fact-checking strategy that involves leaving a source to verify information using multiple reputable sites.

Learn how to quickly assess credibility, identify potential "hallucinations” in AI-produced text, and become more discerning consumers of information provided online.

This workshop is part of a four-part AI Literacy series offered by the Education and Engagement Department.
