Prompt Creation: AI

This workshop utilizes ALA/ACRL "AI Competencies for Academic Library Workers" that focus on fostering digital literacy, understanding AI biases (disinformation), and promoting through principles of ethical use and user privacy. This workshop will teach student users how to create prompts in Microsoft Pilot, review the results, and critically evaluate AI-generated content results in order to understand the challenges and opportunities that generative AI can legitimize and delegitimize in its use in the academic enterprise.

Please bring a laptop computer to ensure you can access Microsoft Pilot through the University.

This workshop is part of a four-part AI Literacy series offered by the Education and Engagement Department.
