OPEN TO:

A brief overview of data papers: what they are, and how and why to write them.

A data paper, or data article, is a scholarly publication that provides detailed descriptions of the creation, context, and content of a research dataset. This workshop is designed to introduce researchers to this additional method of sharing research outputs. We will cover how data papers differ from traditional scholarly articles, how to write one, and where it might be published.

This session will be useful to anyone interested in data papers, especially early career researchers and graduate students.
