Animating Data in R with gganimate

OPEN TO:
-Faculty -Graduate Students -Postdocs -Staff -Undergraduate Students

Learn to make animated data visualizations in R using the gganimate package.

This workshop will introduce participants to gganimate, a package in R that provides tools for animating graphs (for example, over time). We will work together to craft an animated data visualization and try out various design choices.

This workshop is open to all, but it is recommended that participants have some basic knowledge of writing R code in the RStudio interface. One way to accomplish this is to attend one of the R for Absolute Beginners workshops offered regularly throughout the semester.
