Introduction to Research in Education

OPEN TO:
-Faculty -Graduate Students -Staff -Undergraduate Students

Participants will learn to effectively utilize the Hesburgh Library resources in Education, including searching and assessing general and specialized resources from the Hesburgh Library Catalog, Research Databases, and relevant web resources for undergraduates who are exploring completion of an Education capstone research project. Graduate students developing their master's thesis research will learn advanced Boolean operators, keyword refinement, and subject-specific thesauri to conduct targeted searches on themes in pre-K through 12th-grade education. Participants will practice integrating library resources into a sample research query that will foster confidence in pursuing research in Education.

Participants are asked to bring their laptop computers with them to this session.
